True confession time.
Pulp Saturday hates mystery stories. I like crime stories, I like detective stories but I can’t stand those massively contrived polite-murder-among-the-rich-and-famous, Colonel-Mustard-in-the-Conservatory-with-a-lead-pipe type stories.
That said, it’s a tribute to the artist and blurb writer of this 1957 paperback edition of Agatha Christie’s Evil Under the Sun that it almost looks good enough to read.
