West Lake at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, c. 1911.
The West Lake sat at the southwestern corner of the fairgrounds, almost on E. 11th Ave. It had an island and was a popular spot for picnics. The lake was stocked with fish and the Ohio Fisheries Building was nearby.
The spired building in the background is most likely the fairgrounds streetcar station.
159th Ohio State Fair starts next Wednesday.
